This years Catholic New Media Celebration takes place during the final weekend of the year dedicated to the apostle Saint Paul. Just like Saint Paul who traveled the world to tell the nations about Jesus, Catholic new media evangelists reach out to a worldwide audience with the message of the Gospel. At this year’s CNMC, we will explore how we can follow in his footsteps.

Many of your favorite podcasters will be coming to San Antonio for this year’s Catholic New Media Celebration. Fr. Roderick of the Daily Breakfast, Lisa Hendey of Catholic Moments, Paul Camarata of the Saint Cast, Fr. Bill Kessler, David and Allyson Sweeney, Jeff Vista of Praystation Portable and many more will be there. We will add podcasters to this website as soon as we receive confirmation of their presence at the CNMC 2009!

SQPN Meet and Greet

The evening before the Catholic New Media Celebration, SQPN will organize a festive meet and greet in downtown San Antonio for everyone. It will be a great occasion to hang out with friends, bloggers and podcasters. Whether you are a long time SQPN fan, or completely new to the world of catholic new media, this is the place to be to warm up for the Catholic New Media Celebration and to have a wonderful evening!

This Year’s Location: the UIW Skyroom

The second annual Catholic New Media Celebration will take place at the magnificent Sky Room of the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX. It’s a great location that is easy to reach. There is a big central space for keynotes and presentations, while other rooms are available for the various tracks. The place has great food, and has special areas where you can meet other people and check out the various catholic organizations that will join us for the CNMC.

The ICC is located at the corner of Hildebrand and Hwy 281, the most convenient intersection in San Antonio, three minutes from the San Antonio International Airport and five minutes from San Antonio’s famous River Walk. The UIW Sky Room has free on-site parking for its visitors and guests.

Join us for an exciting, festive day about new media and new evangelization in the beautiful city of San Antonio. Meet your favorite catholic media personalities in person, be inspired by great speakers, learn from the best in catholic media and have a wonderful time with friends from all over the world!

San Antonio is not only a beautiful city with its famous river walk, but also a place with catholic roots that stretch to the first evangelization efforts in North America. On the final day of the Year of Saint Paul, the Catholic New Media Celebration will inspire you to follow in the footsteps of this great apostle, and you will meet a great community that shares the same quest to bring the catholic message to the ends of the world!
